Meet Demet
I'm Demet Nicole, and I wear a lot of hats. I'm a corporate professional, travel advisor, business owner, content creator, daughter, friend, and a woman who is learning to make room for the things that matter to me too.
For a long time, I did what I thought I was supposed to do. I worked hard, followed the rules, built my career, and focused on being responsible. And I'm proud of all of that. But this season of my life is also about being more honest about what I want, trying new things, enjoying the life I have worked hard to build, and not waiting for the "right time" to do it.
I believe you do not have to wait for the next promotion, relationship, milestone, or version of yourself to create the life you truly want.
My Professional Background
I Know How to Make Things Happen
I have spent more than 20 years in Corporate America, including more than 13 years in project management. That work has taught me how to manage details, solve problems, communicate clearly, and keep moving when there are a lot of moving pieces.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, an MBA in Applied Management, and a Certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship. My education and professional experience helped build the foundation for how I lead, plan, and follow through today.
But I also know that a title, degree, or career does not have to be the only thing that defines you.
Pure Essence Getaways
Turning "We Need A Trip" Into A Plan
I became a travel advisor in 2013 because I have always loved the feeling that travel gives you. The excitement before a trip, the memories you make while you are there, the chance to step outside of your day-to-day routine, and the stories you bring home after.
I created Pure Essence Getaways to help people get to that part without carrying all the stress of figuring it out on their own. I love helping clients take an idea and turn it into a trip that makes sense for their people, their budget, their schedule, and the kind of experience they want to have.
The name comes from my belief that travel is about more than checking into a hotel or getting a good deal. It is about enjoying the whole experience, from the first conversation to the moment you return home with memories you will keep talking about.

More Than One Version of Success
In 2021, I moved from Louisville, Kentucky, to Las Vegas, Nevada. That move gave me a chance to experience a different city, meet new people, and keep creating a life that feels like my own.
These days, I am balancing a career, business ownership, content creation, fitness, family, friendships, and all the regular things that come with adulthood. Some days I am on top of it. Some days I am tired and need a minute. Both are real.
I believe in working hard, but I also believe life is meant to be enjoyed now, not saved for retirement, a relationship, a future version of myself, or the next big milestone. I enjoy time with my people, a good solo date, travel, being home, exploring Vegas, shopping, trying new things, and finding things that make an ordinary week feel a little better.
A Note on wellness
Showing Up Looks Different Now
My health and wellness journey has taught me a lot about discipline, consistency, and believing that I can do hard things. It has also taught me that strength looks different for everybody.
I share more of that story on my Wellness page, but the biggest lesson I carry with me is this: progress is not always loud, fast, or perfect. Sometimes it is just choosing not to give up on yourself.
Community matters to me
Walking For Something Bigger
I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2011. It is part of my life, but it is not the only thing I want people to know about me.
Living with MS has helped me understand the importance of listening to my body, giving myself grace, and appreciating what I am able to do. It is also why Walk MS is close to my heart. I organize a Walk MS team and fundraise each year in support of the MS community.
